Broken Head House

A large floor area building with mixed use and future provision at its core.

The design brief was to construct a building that could serve its purpose as a vibrant living and work place for a young family, whilst built to accomodate future conversion of the building to commercial or multi residential apartments.

Broken Head House incorporates three meter ceilings throughout, high performance insulation and loads of solar passive design.  Celebrating the buildings strong bones and large volumes, while providing simple adaptability for change of use, it will serve its owners long into the future.
